Paula is off to CHA and we get to play!!....

Hello everyone, Lisette here. As many of you already know Paula is off to CHA, The Craft and Hobby Association Convention in California to see the latest and greatest in our favorite pastime. While she is away there will be special store hours.

STORE HOURS THIS WEEK
Wednesday, January 25th to Thursday, February 1st.
The Store hours will be:
Wednesday, 1/25 12 - 6 pm
Thursday 1/26 12 - 8pm
Saturday, January 28th. 9:00am to 6:pm (unless people want to stay and crop)
The Store will be CLOSED SUNDAY 1 /29 & MONDAY 1/30
Tuesday, Jan. 31st. 12 - 6pm
Wednesday Feb 1st 12 - 6pm

I would like to wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Enjoy your family and eat lots, but remember to be "Thankful".  Thankful for the food you have, for the roof over your head, for the family members and friends by your side.  Thankful that you can get out of bed in the morning without aid and walk to the bathroom to brush your teeth......

We have a family tradition on Thanksgiving.....before we sit down for our meal, we all stand, hold hands and say blessing.  Each individual then says what they are Thankful FOR.  Even after all the belly aching and awww moms....there is always that few moments of silence after each of them (even the children) have spoken where I can tell that they are all reflecting on how blessed each of them truly are.

 Cheryl is teaching this one today at "A SCRAPBOOK STORE"
You'll find just how fun these dimensional art parts are to decorate and how easy it is to put them together.  You'll be inspired to create your own assemblage pieces after this.  You'll also learn more about inks and the differences of Distress Stains, Distress Inks, Archival Inks and even use a few drops of alcohol inks.  Lots of stamping and you'll get the chance to play with lots of Studio 490 stamps, a new addition to A Scrapbook Store & More, as well as some Tim Holtz stamps.  I had so much fun putting this together and I know you will too.  I think these would make wonderful holiday gifts.
